The eye should learn to listen before it looks.”

Each individual experiences heritage differently and this means there is no heritage without emotional sharing. This section will evolve through specialists and heritage activists from around the world submitting one or two photos to represent a heritage subject. Participants are free to decide which subjects to share.

This is not a passive submission of photos but a living archive. You are invited to submit:

    1. Name, surname, nationality and profession.
    2. A brief description of the subject.
    3. A short description (it must not exceed 1000/1500 words.) about what the heritage subject means to the specialist. Why did you decide to take the picture (was it beauty, a specific detail, a powerful emotion)? What was your motivation for sharing the subject with the public audience?

This section gives you also the opportunity to share and promote your favourite heritage subjects by uploading your own short video (max. 3 minutes). If you would like to present a video, please contact us directly for further information.

Take photos with a camera or a smartphone, whichever you have to hand. You can still submit even if you are not a professional or specialist but we evaluate all photos before publication. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Please click on the button below to send your materials.
